Slates

Cohas Slates are elegant slate products that come in many different styles and sizes. They are perfect for use in gardens, homes, businesses, events and weddings, and much more! They provide a quality slate surface for your artwork.

Each product features quality slate is mined at a quarry in New England. Beginning as large roofing tiles, the slate is hand- or machine-cut with great care to fit each Cohas product. From there, the slate can become solid or mounted garden stakes, coasters, event or art boards, food service platters, or a framed tabletop stand.

The slates feature a natural organic look that is dark gray in color. Due to the nature of the slate, each piece is guaranteed to look different than the next; variations in size, texture, weight, and thickness will occur.

All of our handmade products feature hand painted artworks created by our in-house artists. Each piece is an original painting done with liquid chalk markers on real slates.
