Use and Care

Cohas slate coasters are easy to use. Each coaster features four rubber feet to protect scratching or marring of tabletop and counter top surfaces. The artwork is painted with an acrylic waterproo paint and sprayed with a clear matte overcoat to protect against condensation and beverage spills.

Slate is hand-split stone, cut from roofing tiles that were mined in a quarry in New England. It features a natural organic look that is dark gray in color. The slate comes pre-mounted to wooden stakes. The wood is a sustainable harvested wood that has been treated in an environmentally friendly manner. Stick and stone are bonded together permanently for outdoor use.
