Description
Hand painted slate garden stakes feature chalk art created by one of our artists on a natural stone and wood garden stake. Customers can use the slate stakes to mark their budding plants and seedlings. They are perfect for vegetable garden rows, potted plants, and nurseries. Because of their versatility and unique designs, customers can use them virtually anywhere!
Use and Care
Cohas slates are easy to use. Simply drive the stake into garden soil or dirt. Use care and do not use hammer or excessive force when driving the stakes into the ground. Slate can splinter; handle broken pieces carefully.
Slate is hand-split stone, cut from roofing tiles that were mined in a quarry in New England. It features a natural organic look that is dark gray in color. The slate comes pre-mounted to wooden stakes. The wood is a sustainable harvested wood that has been treated in an environmentally friendly manner. Stick and stone are bonded together permanently for outdoor use.
The artwork is painted with an acrylic waterproof paint and then sprayed with a clear matte overcoat to ensure weatherproofing.
No two are alike! Our artists hand paint the vegetables and fruits to order, so each is customized and uniquely different from the last. If you do not see a design here and would like to request one, please contact us.
