Use and Care
Cohas slates are easy to clean and reuse. Simply wipe away the lettering, and write again! Some orders include Zig Posterman markers. The Zig Posterman fine markers feature a 1mm tip, perfect for making thin lines. The markers will not smudge or wash off with just water. For wedding planners and venue hosts, remove the ink for your next event easily with Windex or an ammonia based cleaner. Brides who want to give the place cards as a gift can spray the finished slate with acrylic overcoat to make the ink permanent.
Slate is hand-split stone, cut from roofing tiles that were mined in a quarry in New England. It features a natural organic look that is dark gray in color. Because of the natural variations in the slate, actual size and surface texture may occur.
- Each slate piece is approximately 5 inches by 2 inches.
