Savor the Central Coast with Zig Posterman Markers

A four-day annual culinary exploration with a two-day Main Event at the historic Santa Margarita Ranch this fall had Zig Posterman Markers working hard and playing hard. The order came in for over a hundred markers sent by air to the central coast of California. Rounding out the order were orange green and blue markers all representative of the theme at “Savor the Central Coast” in San Luis Obispo County California.

The Main Event highlighted the talents of winemakers, celebrity chefs, brew masters, fishermen, artisanal food producers, Sunset experts, and many more artisans and producers from Ventura to Santa Cruz who call the Central Coast home.

Zig Posterman Markers Applied to Gator Board

The Marketplace included over 100 local wineries, where visitors could sample small bites dished-up from local restaurateurs, and enjoy vendors showcasing their craft. Tatum Barnes of the San Luis Obispo Booth Signs made with Zig Posterman white markers White tent top 12x12 booths County Visitors and Conference Bureau said, “Thanks so much for your help with the markers – our signage for the event was a huge hit. We are confident that we will be purchasing from you guys a lot in the future! In 2013, we may order different colors, sizes, and possibly do non-waterproof.”

The farmers market included hand crafted signs that fit the environment. They were mat black with icons on the left. The hundreds of booths were identified with white Zig Posterman Waterproof markers. Hand written in a simplified Old English style with drop shadows they provided a crafted touch. This was a perfect compliment that matched the growers, winemakers, and artisans.

Chefs, Stars and Star Chefs

Celebrity chefs performed as they guided guests through SAVOR-exclusive chef demonstrations. Food Network Star, Aarti Sequeira was back for the second year in a row to share her kitchen secrets. The ever-popular, and funny, Ted Allen, was on hand to indulge guests with his culinary flare. Many more acclaimed chefs participated to showcase their talents throughout the main event weekend. This included Mandalay Bay esteemed chefs award-winning American chef, Susan Feniger and nationally acclaimed Chef Rick Moonen.

Cohas Chalkboard Systems were right up front at Chef Central, at least our markers were! Zig Posterman Markers made big bold classy white hand crafted text on dark mat black gator foam boards. Providing an outstanding contrast to the rich full colored Central Coast grown fruits and vegetables used in preparation at these sold out demonstrations.
