The marker tips are genuine Zig Posterman tips, made from the same materials as the original tips found inside the markers. The tips can be used on a variety of surfaces, from wood and metal, to plastic and glass. And now, use on rougher surfaces like stone, asphalt, and even sandpaper without worrying about wasting the marker nib.

Use and Care

Marker tips are easy to use with Zig Posterman markers. Simply pull the old tip straight out, away from the barrel. Slide the new tip in, and prime the marker. To prime, hold the marker vertically against a scrap piece of material and push down. This will depress the tip into the barrel, filling the tip. Hold for approximately 10 seconds and release. It may take several tries to allow the ink to flow. Once filled, the tip may need to be refilled occasionally. Use extra care not to prime the marker at an angle; only push straight down on the marker.

Marker tips will fit Zig Posterman Waterproof, Wet-Wipe and Illumigraph variety markers. The 2mm and 6mm marker tips are interchangeable and can be used in either marker barrel. This makes them a great addition to your marker collection, allowing you to expand your color options in the 2mm tip. The 15mm, 30mm, and 50mm will only work in their original marker size.
