Set of Deep Plum slate food and cheese platters features natural purple stone that provides customers a smooth, unique surface for their food service. Customers can use the slates as a food service platter for cheese, wines, fruits and more, or use as a display for messages, decor, and art.

Naturally occurring colored slate features hues of purples ranging from deep plums to light magenta. Because the slate is organic, customers may find splashes of green and gray running throughout the boards. The purple adds a special touch of color to your events, weddings, dinner parties, and food service venues.

Use and Care

Cohas slates are easy to clean and reuse. Simply wipe away any lettering, and write again! No markers are included with these sets, but the Zig Posterman and Illumigraph markers work great on them. The Zig Posterman markers will not smudge or wash off with just water, but remove easily with Windex or an ammonia based cleaner. The Zig Illumigraph markers will not smudge or streak, but remove easily with a damp cloth. When used with food service, clean the board well and write your food, cheese, or wine names on the board and coat with vegetable oil for added protection. For a permanent design, spray the finished slate with acrylic overcoat.

Slate is hand-split stone, cut from roofing tiles that were mined in a quarry in New England. It features a natural organic look that is plum in color. These sets are not drilled and include drilling and care instructions.
