Use and Care
Cohas Labels are easy to clean and reuse. Simply wipe away the lettering on the label, and write again! Kits that include a marker come with a Zig Posterman Waterproof Marker. The extra fine marker features a 0.5mm tip, perfect for creating super fine lines; the fine marker features a 1mm tip, perfect for creating thin lines. The markers will not wash off with just water and require Windex or an ammonia based cleaner.
The labels are dishwasher safe and are not recommended for painted or delicate surfaces. To remove the label from the surface, simply use gentle heat from a hair dryer. They are not reusable on other surfaces once removed.

Worked great for my crafts. Used on canning jars to decorate and sell for the church fall festival this year.

I have tried other vinyl “chalkboard” stickers, and none of them even touches Ziggyboard’s quality. The pen included in the kit writes beautifully on the labels, and washes off easily with an ammonia-based cleaner (or scrubs off with a Dobie or other scratch pad when hand-washing a container, for instance). Perfect for labeling big flour or rice jars (or stick them on the wall above the family coat hooks to avoid confusion about whose coat goes where!) Stickers reposition on non-porous surfaces with no trouble or residue. Great product!!

These are fantastic labels. I’ve been doing a lot of canning this year and was tired of scraping off old paper labels every time I re-used a jar. That chore is now a thing of the past since I started using these things. I love how easy it is to wipe them clean (just spray with Windex and wipe away what you’ve written) and yet the labels don’t go anywhere. They’ve stuck through repeated dishwashing cycles, and even through a round of pressure-canning yesterday!
Definitely use the Cohas liquid chalk, though. I tried a different brand at first and it didn’t write as smoothly. The Cohas pen looks wonderful. I just love these things!
