Color Collection Zig Posterman Waterproof 6mm Tip Silver Marker with 2mm Tip

Zig Posterman Waterproof 6mm tip silver marker with 2mm tip features a broad chisel tip marker, as well as a bonus bullet 2mm tip. Switch tip sizes quickly without needing 2 markers on hand! Use the 6mm tip to make thin and thick lines up to 1/4-inches wide. Change to the 2mm rounded tip to make thinner lines up to 1/8-inches wide.

The marker provides customers a quality liquid chalk ink that is highly opaque and waterproof. They can be used on a variety of surfaces, like Cohas products, classic chalkboards, glass, plastic and more. They are perfect for use adding lettering and decorative art to nonporous surfaces.

Use and Care

Waterproof markers are easy to use. Shake the marker well before opening. Prime the marker by holding it vertically against a scrap material and pushing down. This will depress the tip into the barrel, allowing it fill. Hold for approximately 10 seconds and release. It may take several tries to allow the ink to flow. Once filled, the tip may need to be refilled occasionally. Use extra care not to prime the marker at an angle; only push straight down on the marker.

When changing tip sizes, simply pull the tip straight out away from the barrel. Slide the new tip in, prime to fill the tip with ink, and begin writing again! Each marker includes special priming and care instructions.

The markers’ waterproof ink means it will not wash off with just water. This makes the markers great for use outdoors, high traffic areas, or on signage and displays that may get exposed to water or moisture. To clean the ink, use a cleaner with ammonia, like Windex or kitchen cleaner. Allow the surface to fully dry before reapplying markers.

Application

For best results, ensure writing surface is clean from dirt, debris, oils from hands, and other matter that may affect marker. Clean surface with Windex or alcohol and allow to dry thoroughly prior to applying markers.

Use

Markers come with specific priming and use instructions. Be careful not to over-prime the markers, as this can cause damage and leaking.

Care

Store markers on their sides at room temperature. Do not expose to heat, cold, or direct sunlight. Rinse extra tips thoroughly and allow to air dry before storing.
