Description
Barnyard animal magnetic backed chore charts feature a chalkboard style surface on a magnetic backed flexible board that can be hung on a fridge or other metal surface. They are perfect for tracking your family’s responsibilities and rewards each week. The boards feature real chalk artwork; chalk lines and boxes to write and mark complete each task; and a box at the bottom of the chart to write notes, rewards, reminders, and words of encouragement for your family.
Our artists have hand painted the characters, lines, text, and other elements using liquid chalk markers on a chalkboard. Art is then digitized and embedded for a long-lasting board. The chart can be hung on refrigerators, however some newer stainless steel will not attract magnets. Test your fridge with smaller magnets to ensure the chore chart will work. Magnetic backed chore charts will also fit standard frames to hang on the wall, but are not magnet receptive.
Use and Care
Cohas barnyard animal magnetic backed chore charts are easy to clean and reuse when used with the included or recommended markers. Simply use water and a sponge or paper towels to wipe away writing and marks. Boards include a selection of Cohas wet-wipe markers that feature a reversible tip. Use the chisel 6mm end for thick and thin lines, or the 2mm bullet tip for thin even lines. The markers remove easily with water.
Do not use regular chalk, Expo and dry erase markers, and metallic chalk markers with these boards. Chalk will not work on the chore chart and these markers will cause staining and damage. Use only the markers that come with your chart, Cohas provided markers, or wet-wipe markers. Certain brands and colors may cause staining. Test other brand markers before use on the chore chart.
Gentle cleaners, Windex, and other kitchen cleaners can be used on the chart. Do not use abrasive cleaners like magic erasers or rough sponges. This will cause damage to the surface of the board.
