Use and Care
Cohas chalkboard stands are easy to clean and reuse. The frame features two channels, allowing the slate to slip in and out when you’re ready to create a new message. Slide the slate to the top and push on the bottom front of the slate, bringing it past the bottom channel. Lower the slate again to bring the top of the board out. Erase and rewrite your message, then insert the top of the slate into the top channel. Swing the bottom of the slate to the front, past the bottom channel, and drop it into place.
Simply wipe away the lettering, and write again! Orders include a Zig Illumigraph marker. The Zig Illumigraph broad chisel marker features a 6mm tip, perfect for making thin and thick lines. Once dry, the marker will not smudge or streak, but removes easily with a damp cloth.
Slate is hand-split stone, cut from roofing tiles that were mined in a quarry in New England. It features a natural organic look that is dark gray in color.
Frames are a 3/4 inch thick poplar colored wood frame with a distressed look. They are hand-rubbed around the edges and corners to expose the natural wood underneath.
The wrought iron stand is handcrafted and riveted to the bottom of the frame, for a low-profile integration. The frame features a back-arm that pivots into the frame to provide flat storage.
