The flow from these springs is indeed profuse, amounting to about 15,000 gallons per day, and the most significant fact in regard to the flow is that it is nearly constant, irrespective of the season of the year, rains or droughts.

It is beyond question that their sources are very deep in the granite or gneiss foundation and that surface water does not reach them.
